When an extern matriculates, they will have the opportunity to present in front of our supervised board-certified Cardiologists and/or subspecialty physicians in the practice. The externship has been building upon a series of didactic topics that will be further assigned to future externs.

Our didactic sessions include weekly individual extern presentations to cover a curriculum broadly based on topics by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and General Cardiology. The lectures are supplemented by case discussions, pathophysiology, histology, diagnosis and treatment for review.
